Sage Capital Advisors, LLC (“Sage Cap”) was formed in September 2012 by John E. Duffy and his former Partners to provide commercial real estate capital markets advisory services for a select group of clients. Sage Cap was formed to exclusively focus on delivering for its clients the most efficient and effective overall cost of capital in an increasingly complex global real estate market. Mr. Duffy’s experience and track record, successfully completing in excess of $21.5 billion in 315 transactions with investors both foreign and domestic since 1991, is what provides the competitive edge to his clients. These transactions have included joint ventures on new construction, recapitalizations, investment sales, and structured finance. Mr. Duffy takes particular interest in successfully completing complex joint venture assignments where his ability to work with all parties in a mutually beneficial manner is essential. The typical transaction is a to be built large-scale mixed-use development project or recapitalization.

Mr. Duffy’s background includes extensive experience as a land use planner (comprehensive planning, zoning, architectural compliance), real estate developer (entitlement, architectural and engineering oversight, project financing, leasing, and disposition), real estate investor for his own account (joint venture office, retail and residential projects) and as a leader in the global capital markets industry with over $21.5 billion in completed transactions.
