Ms. Johnston began her real estate career in 1997 as an in-house leasing analyst for Equity Office Properties in Washington, DC. She spent 5 years at Equity Office as part of a 3-person team responsible for the leasing of ten office properties in downtown DC, the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor, and Alexandria, VA. From 2002 to 2004 Elizabeth completed her MBA at the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia with a focus in Finance. Since graduating in 2004, Elizabeth spent the next 8 years at HFF where she worked closely with John Duffy, Bob Donhauser and Bill Asbill on office sales and finance transactions. In 2012 she joined John, Bob and Bill at Sage Cap, and over the past 10 years, Elizabeth has been involved in over 50 capital markets real estate transactions totaling approximately $6.4 billion on behalf of local owners/developers, institutions, REITS, and foreign clients.

Mr. Asbill is a Senior Director with Sage Capital Advisors. He began his career in real estate in 1998 as an analyst for Grubb & Ellis in Washington, DC. He subsequently spent several years as an in-house office leasing agent for The JBG Companies. In 2005, Andrew took a position in acquisitions/asset management with Quadrangle Development Corporation. In 2010 Andrew began his brokerage career with the capital markets group at Cushman & Wakefield in Washington, DC, where he focused on investment sales and structured finance transactions for major institutional clients including REITs, pension funds, developers and private investors.

Ms. Duffy is an Analyst with Sage Capital Advisors. She joined the firm in January 2013. Maggie received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University in 2011, co-majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor in Real Estate. During her time at Villanova, she was an active member of the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate. Maggie is a member of CREW and ULI (specifically the Women’s Leadership Initiative). Currently, she is also a participant in ULI’s Young Leader Mentorship program.
